The Long Beach State track & field team continues its quest for the conference title this weekend as it makes its way to the Inland Empire for the 2015 Big West Track & Field Championships, which will be held at the UC Riverside Track Facility, May 15-16.

Long Beach State track & field closes out the first week of the Big West Championships with Herman Day finishing in the top five in the conference and adding on two personal bests in the Decathlon.

The Long Beach State men's track & field team has two individuals among the top-five after the first day of the decathlon at the Big West Championships, which are being held at the UC Riverside Track Facility.

The Long Beach State track & field team will head to Riverside, Calif. to compete in the 46th annual Big West Conference Championships, beginning with the decathlon/heptathlon this weekend.

The Long Beach State track & field team closed out the regular season on a high note as it had a number of strong performances on the second and final day of the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational Saturday at UC Irvine.

Eleven 49ers placed in the top 10 in their events while four increase their lifetime bests to finish off the first day at Anteater Stadium.
