BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union men's track & field's John Luther was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference's men's field athlete of the week the league announced on Monday. This marks the third time on the outdoor season that Luther has earned the award.

CLAREMONT, Calif. – Junior Josh Espinoza (Glendale, Ariz.) finished fifth in a field of 165 runners at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Saturday, where the Vanguard (RV) men claimed seventh place overall. The Lions excelled on the course as well, out-running Golden State Athletic Conference foe No. 18 Westmont in the team competition.
