Carmichael, Calif. – All of the hard work over the past two years paid off today for senior Hannah Wiesner.  The Warriors track and field star ran the American Parkway Half Marathon in 1:29:24 to meet the "A standard" and qualify for the NAIA National Marathon next month.

Wiesner finished in 12th place overall out of 1,379 runners. She took 4th place out of all females and #1 in her age group. 

"This is a very exciting time for our women's track & field program," stated head coach Parker Daniells.  "Hannah has dedicated herself since she joined the program and it's so great to see all her hard work payoff.  She deserves this opportunity as she has sacrificed and pushed herself beyond her limits every day.  This kind of achievement shows there are great things ahead for our program."

The 34th Annual NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will be held May 22-24 at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, AL.
