Rocklin, Calif. – William Jessup University head coach Parker Daniells and the cross country team unveiled its 2013 schedule. 

"Both the men and women are ready for the fall to start and show everyone how hard they have been training this summer," stated Coach Daniells.  "We get an early look at the Cal Pac Championship course at Woodward Park course in Clovis, so we can understand it and build our confidence running on that course.  This schedule provides our squads some great exposure and will challenge us to get better every week."

The Warriors will open the season at the Fresno State University Invitational on September 14^th.  It will be a great opportunity for the Warriors to preview the course at Woodward Park in Clovis, which will be the site of the 2013 California Pacific Conference Championship. 

Two-weeks later the Warriors will continue to go against the best at the Stanford University Invitational in Palo Alto.  Last season, the Stanford field included 29 men's teams and 256 individual runners, while the women's team field featured 28 teams and 284 individual runners.

The following weekend the Warriors will travel to the Willamette Invitational in Salem, OR. A season ago the men's team finished 15^th out of 22 teams, while the women's team finished 18^th out of 20 teams. 

The Warriors will travel to the Santa Clara Bronco Invite on October 19^th to round out the regular season. A year ago, Michael Basuini led the Warriors to a 7^th place finish out of 17 teams.  Hannah Weisner finished 62^nd out of 197 runners with a time of 19:22.

The 2013 California Pacific Conference Championships will take place on November 4^th in Clovis.  The men's team will be looking for a three-peat, while the women will look to get over the top after a second place finish in 2012. 

The 2013 NAIA Championship will be at the Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, KS on November 23^rd.
