After leading the Gauchos to a 10th place team showing at the Louisville Pre-National race, UCSB senior Bryan Guijarro was awarded his second Big West Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor. Guijarro placed 32nd in a field of 288 runners. The UCSB men moved up five spots in the NCAA West Regional rankings and received three national votes for the first time in over a decade for their commanding performance.
