[Cross Country] Hawks Finish Season at GSAC ChampionshipsPublished by
IRVINE, Calif. – The Men's and Women's Cross Country teams both finished their seasons today at the GSAC Championships Saturday. Both teams finished ninth. On the men's side, Daniel Camacho led the way for the Hawks finishing in 43rd place with a time of 31:00 in the 8K averaging a 6:14 mile pace. Hunter Ennis followed Camacho finishing 61st overall and a 35:26 time. Joey Holland (62nd, 36:42), Joseph Arellano (64th, 37:05), and Christian Garcia (68th, 38:33) capped all runners. They finished with a team score of 236, 14 points behind eighth place Menlo College. Heather Borsos was the quickest for the women finishing the 5K race in 61st place and a time of 23:22. Lilian Gomez-Garza followed three spots behind in 64th and 23:39. Karla Camarillo (77th, 27:21), Savannah McGrath (79th, 28:00) and Carla Loza (83rd, 45:15) rounded out the SDC runners.
