The Cal State San Marcos Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams wrapped up the final day of the 2012 NAIA National Championships by recording 9 more All-American awards, giving the team 15 total for the meet. The women’s marathon started the string of strong performances by the Cougars, led by Cady Villareal’s 6th place finish. Villareal scored 3 points for the team in just her second marathon ever, running 3:06:53 over the 26.2 mile course. For Cady, it was her 2nd Track and Field All-American award, and 5th total. She has been an All-American in each of the last 3 years while leading the Cougars to 3 consecutive National Championships.
