Marion, Ind. - (Outdoor Sports Complex at Indiana Wesleyan University) - 61st Annual Men's and 32nd Annual Women's NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships - Sophomore speedster Kapree Nelson was the only Vanguard Lion to compete in day two of the three-day 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Marion, Indiana. Hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University for the third straight year, the NAIA Championships were not a new situation for VU's second-year qualifier. Running on the same track where she placed seventh a year ago, Nelson advanced to tomorrow's final race in the women's 400 meter dash.
