Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton - 2011 Titan Invite - Following a weekend off of racing, the Vanguard Lions returned to Cross Country action with a rare Friday evening appearance at the 2011 Titan Invite, held on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. Vanguard University runners ran extremely well with nine Lions setting new personal bests and both the men's and women's teams notching their lowest team times of the season. Competing against a majority of NCAA Division I schools, VU's women placed fifth in the team standings, while the Lion men finished second among eight teams.
