Westmont Reaches Top-20 in Directors’ CupPublished by
Westmont College Athletics finished in nineteenth place in the 2011-12 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup NAIA final standings, an improvement of more the 50 places over last year. Nineteenth, out of nearly 300 schools, is the highest finish for the program in nine years.
The Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in up to 12 sports -- six women’s and six men’s.
