Rocklin, Calif. – William Jessup University senior Wayne Smith was named California Pacific Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Month for October.

Smith, a native of Hayward, California competed in the Willamette and Santa Clara Bronco Invitational.  At Willamette, Smith headlined the Warriors with a 48^th place finish with a time of 26:14. Smith led the Warriors with a sixth place finish at the Bronco Invite as he ran the 8K race in 25:55. 

The Warriors are gearing up for the California Pacific Conference Championships on November 4^th in Fresno.
