[Men's Cross Country] Cummings, Smith Honored as 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Cross Country ...Published by
Lawrence, KS. - As announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), William Jessup University senior cross country runners David Cummings (Rocklin, CA) and Wayne Smith (Hayward, CA) were two of the 224 men's cross country runners nationwide named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes. Cummings, a psychology major, maintains a 3.8 GPA. He completed his final race last Saturday at the 2013 National Championships and will graduate this spring. Smith maintains a 3.91, while pursuing his degree in Business. He led the Warriors last Saturday by finishing in 142nd place at the 2013 NAIA National Championships and will graduate this spring.
