Rocklin, Calif. – The Time has come to see all the hard work pay off as the William Jessup University Cross Country teams get ready for the California Pacific Conference Championships. The 2013 Men's and Women's California Pacific Conference Cross Country Championships will be held at Woodward Park in Fresno, California on Monday, November 4, 2013.  Official meet hosts will be UC Merced.

The Warriors men's team is looking for their third consecutive Cal Pac Championship.  The Cal Pac Runner of the Month for October, senior Wayne Smith, leads the way for the Warriors.  In his last race, smith finished in 8^th place with a time of 25:55.  Super Sophomore Michael Basuini has also had a great year.  His top race time was 26:21 at the Willamette invite.  Senior David Cummings, sophomore Christian Wichmann, junior Jonathan Hernandez and sophomore Patrick Johnson will look to put together their best race of the season.

The Lady Warriors, 2012 Cal Pac Runner-Up, will look to bring home the banner.  Senior Hannah Wiesner will look to peak at the right moment.  Here best time was 23:28 at the Bronco Invite.  Sophomore Allyson Richmond has been steady all season.  Senior Megan Crutchfield, freshman Stephanie Arzon and sophomore Justine Kruger will look to keep pace and help the Warriors get over the top. 

The Cal Pac winner get an automatic bid to the NAIA Nationals in Lawrence, KS, while the top 5 individuals not part of the qualifying team also qualify.

*Awards will be distributed shortly after the meet results are compiled to allow for a 30 minute protest period.  

Misc. Race Information

Team scoring will be done by a point system with the top 5 scoring and the next 2 displacing.  Tiebreakers will go to the top 6th runner in.
