[Track & Field] Cummings, Amack Earn Track & Field Scholar-Athlete HonorsPublished by
Rocklin, Calif. - As announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), William Jessup University junior track and field runners David Cummings (Rocklin, CA) and Alyssa Amack (Highland Ranch, CO) were named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Track and Field Scholar-Athletes. Cummings, a psychology major, maintains a 3.79 GPA. He was one of 204 men's track and field student athletes across the nation to earn this honor. 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes - PDF Amack, a psychology and bible theology major, maintains a 3.51 GPA. She was one of 313 women's track and field student athletes across the nation to earn this honor. 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Track and Field Scholar-Athletes – PDF Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
